Would he walk on water
Would he run through fire
Would he stand before you
When it is down to the wire
Would he give his life up
To be all he can
Is that, is that, is that how you measure a man

My version for chorus

Would he make you happy
Would he be ok to look at
Would he do everything
When you ask him to do that
Must him be at your side when
You need him but not vice versa
Is that, is that, is that how you pick out a friend

Would he be your sidekick
Would he tahan all for you
Would he be your punch bag
When you are very blue
Must he understand you totally
Yet he's being ignored
Is that, is that, is that how you pick out a friend
